Artlist Academy is a series of tutorials, is a valuable resource for rising content creators looking to expand their skills,  increase their reach and build their brand.  We want to further empower you as a creator by providing you with all of the tools, support and exposure you need to broaden your creative horizons and raise your profile.  The #getintheloop challenge seeks to inspire fresh voices to step into their spotlight and join our ever-growing community of creators.
The challenge is open to all video creators above the age of 18. You will need a subscription or a free trial to Artlist to participate. For the full terms and conditions click here

In order to take part you’ll need to create a short loop video between 7 to 30 seconds in length and post it to your social media channel (Instagram Reels or Tiktok).

Your video must include the PNG image in the starter kit within the first 2 seconds, as well as music from Artlist.

Your loop video should focus on one of these techniques from the Artlist Academy tutorials:

  • Sound design
  • Lighting
  • VFX

When you post your loop video to your Instagram Reels or TikTok, make sure to include the following in the caption:

  • The hashtag #getintheloop
  • The name of the technique you’ve chosen (Lighting, Sound Design or VFX)
  • Mention and tag @artlist.io

Bonus points will be awarded if you will also post a behind-the-scenes video to your Instagram or TikTok account. Make sure to include the hashtag #getintheloop.

A loop video is a video that plays in repeat mode seamlessly from beginning to end. If you need any assistance in creating a loop video, we have an Artlist Academy tutorial just for that: How to make a Loop video

Yes. In order to participate you must include the PNG image included in the starter kit in the first 2 seconds of your loop video.

 

The Starter Kit also includes free SFX and motion graphics elements that you can use if you’d like – but that’s not mandatory.

Any video submitted after this date will not be eligible.

No, watching the courses isn’t a must, but it’s highly recommended.

The tutorials are a valuable tool for all content creators to gain practical skills and level up their videos. In order to ensure that you correctly use and feature one of the three techniques in your LOOP, why not watch a quick video?

Yes, the music in your video must be from Artlist. If you’re a subscriber, you’re all set, but if not, sign up for a free trial account and use watermarked songs for your entry. Note that watermarked songs are allowed to use for this challenge only.

Of course! Feel free to incorporate footage from Artgrid.io in your work.

If you don’t have an Artgrid subscription, you can sign up for a free trial account and download watermarked clips.

Yes! The goal of the #getintheloop challenge is to empower up-and-coming creators. You can (and should) definitely join even if you don’t have any previous experience.

Your video can be about anything you’d like  while using one of the three techniques from the Artlist Academy (sound design, lighting or VFX). Your video entry must be a video loop up to, but no longer than 30 seconds. And don’t forget to tag it with #getintheloop and mention @artlist.io.

How will the winners be chosen?

There will be 3 winners, one from each category. They will be chosen by a panel of judges from the Artlist Creative Team.

The criteria for selection will be based on the creativity, originality and quality of your video.

When will the winners be announced?

The 3 winners will be announced early September
